According to July sales averages, Xiaomi’s market share beat Samsung by 2 points. There is still a significant difference year-round, but at this rate Xiaomi Zoru can succeed.
Xiaomi, who beat Apple in the second quarter of the year by making a significant leap and stuck to Samsung’s back in the smartphone market, achieved great success in July.
Although they are producing a few versions of a model and launching it under different brands, the company has achieved high sales figures as it plans distribution according to the region. The fact that it has returned its business model only to physical stores online is also effective. Another factor is Huawei’s good evaluation of its markets.
In the second quarter of the year, Xiaomi shifted up a gear last month, narrowing the difference between Samsung and up to 30 million sales. It took the lead in July with 17.1 percent, according to a market agreement signed by Counterpoint Research.
The share of Apple rose to 14.3 percent, while Samsung also remained at 15.7 percent. Xiaomi took the lead in Europe anyway. If it can have a presence, especially in North America, it could end the year as a leader.
