Xiaomi, which started its life with smartphone software, is chasing success in many sectors today. The company, which increased its sales last year due to the pandemic, has also weakened in the market, especially in China.
According to 2020 figures, Xiaomi sold a total of 146.4 million smartphones and achieved 17.5 percent growth. Sales in China grew 51.9 percent. Smartphones priced at 300 euros or more, which the company refers to as premium, sold 10 million units.
The company’s total revenue was $37.4 billion, half of which came from overseas. Smartphones generated $23.2 billion in revenue, while the other group, which includes products such as televisions and smart home appliances, reached $14 billion.
This year, new models of the Redmi and Poco brands went on sale, especially the Xiaomi Mi 11. We will also see numerous Xiaomi models in the moving period. The company’s expectations for 2021 are also very high.
