The Covid-19 pandemic changed needs. With the closures, the transition to work and education from home brought new needs. The tablet and PC market, which has been losing blood for years, began to grow for the first time. Jobs have reached the point where demand is not met due to supply chain breakdowns.
Companies that want to turn this crisis into an opportunity are returning to products that they have been silent about for a long time. One of these companies, Xiaomi, is returning to the tablet market with the Mi Pad 5.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 comes in June
The Mi Pad series, which has been silent for some time, returns with its fifth generation. The product, which is expected to come in two versions as Standard and Pro, will allegedly be a direct competitor to Samsung’s Tab series and Apple iPad. Especially among the claims that the Pro model will have a screen in 2K resolution and a high refresh rate.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, which will not disappoint users when it comes to processors, will get its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 or MediaTek Dimensity 1200. These processors, which are quite powerful, will allow the tablet to be classified as its flagship. It also has a massive battery of 8,520 mAh, among other known details.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad, whose release date is not yet known, may arrive earlier than we expected. According to a post on Weibo by Wang Teng Thomas, the company’s product manager, the tablet will meet the user this month or in June at the latest.
