Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a new air conditioner that stands out for its “quiet operation”. The Mijia Air Conditioner Sleep Version is designed to provide a comfortable sleep experience. The air conditioner emits only 18 decibels (dB) of noise when in sleep mode.
When sleep mode is enabled, the display light turns off automatically and the noise level of the device is reduced to 18 dB. In addition, direct blowing is turned off, creating an ideal sleeping environment. It was stated that the new air conditioner is extremely ideal for bedrooms of 10-15 square meters.
As you know, body temperature changes continuously during sleep. The Mijia Air Conditioner Sleep Version can automatically adjust the room temperature by keeping up with the circadian rhythm of the human body. It begins to slightly raise the ambient temperature at 4 a.m. for a comfortable sleep environment.
Xiaomi’s new air conditioner, the Mi Band, is capable of connecting with a smart wristband. In this way, it can detect the user’s sleep status and turn sleep mode on or off. Offering low energy consumption, half-degree temperature change and self-cleaning, the Mijia Air Conditioner Sleep Version costs $320.
