Will the Apple AR VR headset recognize the user through its eyes

New claims have emerged for the title that Apple will use AR and VR technologies together. Analyst Ming Chun Kuo claimed the VR headset would come with a surprise feature for identification. Accordingly, this new virtual reality headset will recognize the user through his eyes.

According to Ming Chin Kuo, Apple is planning a new security measure for this headset, a mix of VR and AR. This technology, called eye recognition or Iris recognition, is one of the most advanced security measures known.

This security technology works on the detection of the iris layer, which is a different structure in each person. Whether this technology, which is expected to work with FaceID-like sensors, will actually come up is a question.

While Apple isn’t sure about iris-based eye recognition technology, the analyst is confident that this virtual headset will analyze users’ eye movements. VR and AR headsets have technologies that analyze users’ movements in general. According to Kuo, Apple can use much more advanced sensors for this analysis.

Kuo says the upcoming VR/AR headset will come with an M1 or similar processor. The analyst had previously reported that the price of this virtual headset would be $1,000. Details about the characteristics of this title have not yet emerged. Kuo, by contrast, says this interesting virtual headset will be released in 2022.

Last month, a new patent combining Apple VR and AR technology was leaked. With this patent, it became official that the company was working on virtual glasses. Apple has actually been working on this technology for over two years. According to experts, Apple will be based on the AR experience in titles. The VR experience can stay in the background.

VR goggles, or titles as they are known, completely take the user away from the real world. With this patent, Apple is looking to offer the AR experience as well as the VR experience in the same title. Although it is not clear how these two technology will be used, the title will have two separate screens. Apple is also trying to reduce the weight of the hood from 200 grams to around 100 grams.
