WhatsApp has released a new feature that could be quite useful for users in the Google Play Beta Program. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to mute videos.
WhatsApp, which recently released update 2.21.3.13, had not long offered a new feature to beta version users. A feature that came to the beta version of the messaging app ended this situation.
This feature is accessible to WhatsApp users in the Google Play Beta Program, allowing users to optionally turn off audio when sending a video to someone else. The feature is also designed to be quite simple to use. The update is gradually being deployed to beta users.
Silent video submission will be possible

The name of the new feature has been identified as mute video. With this feature, which some users can actively use, it will be possible to transfer a video without audio. To mute videos, the button on the screen that was previously edited the video will be used.
Thanks to the silent video feature, it will be possible to remove unwanted background sounds from the shares to be made. Since voice data will not be moved, it will also be less spent than mobile data packets.
WhatsApp will deploy this feature to more beta users starting today. This means that even if you’re in beta, you might not be able to use the feature yet. Soon, the feature will be available to beta users and other users if the tests progress as desired.
