WhatsApp is preparing to release a new update that will save you the trouble of throwing your statuses back to Facebook. You will now be able to add your shared Statuses to WhatsApp to Facebook Stories with a single click.
WhatsApp, the world’s most widely used online messaging app, purchased by Facebook, began testing a new feature in June to allow users to share WhatsApp Status in their Facebook Stories. The company successfully completed its test before offering this feature to users.
WhatsApp hasn’t made an official announcement about when the feature will be available yet, but a lot of users have reported it on Twitter. For now, the application is in India with Android version 2.19.258 version is specified. WhatsApp, however, has created a FAQ page on the website that describes the steps to share a WhatsApp Status with Facebook Story or other apps. This development shows that this feature will soon be available to all users on a global basis.
If you’re one of the users who receive this feature, you’ll see the “Share in Facebook Story” option just below the “My Status” section on the Status tab. If you want your status to be shared on other platforms, tap “Share” to see the appropriate apps.
Also, if you’ve published multiple status updates, they’ll all be shared with the Facebook Story. So if you want to share just a few of them, you’ll need to go to the “My Status” section, select the States you want to share, click the ellipsis button in the upper right corner of the States, and then click “Share on Facebook.”
It is also worth noting that the WhatsApp Status you share with Facebook or other applications will not be protected by encryption from start to finish. To take advantage of this feature, you must have the Facebook application installed on your phone.
