Twitter adds a new one to many of its recent innovations. Users who wanted to share a content they saw on Twitter on other platforms took screenshots and shared them. In the new tested Instagram stories, the era of sharing Tweets begins.
Testing of Tweet sharing on Instagram stories
With this feature, which was first introduced for Snapchat on December 10, users will now be able to quickly send tweets to Snap Camera, which is in Twitter’s share menu. Tests for this feature have also started for Instagram.
Using Twitter’s share menu might seem like a little different than just taking a screenshot and sharing it. You may even find this menu harder to use, but using this feature is better than filling your gallery with unnecessary screenshots.
The official statement of Twitter regarding the tested feature is as follows:
“We are currently testing sharing Tweets on Instagram Stories. While we know well that users share Tweets on other social media apps, we are looking for new ways to make it even easier for them to share Tweets on Instagram Stories. Please note that Twitter content shared and published on Instagram may not reflect the current state of the content on Twitter and will be subject to Instagram’s policies and rules. “
The Tweet sharing feature in Instagram stories is expected to be published for everyone in the new year.
