Justin Long, the chief executive of Mac ads, is now appearing in Intel ads.
Intel is making a big reference to Apple in its new ad campaign. Justin Long, an actor who appeared in old Mac ads as “I’m a Mac,” appears in Intel ads, this time saying, “I’m a Justin.”
An ad compares the flexibility of the Intel 2-in-1 Lenovo Yoga 9i with the MacBook Pro, noting the ability of the first to work as both a traditional laptop and tablet. The ad also implies that similar functionality in Apple’s ecosystem will require an iPad, keyboard, stylus and a hardware lock.
Another ad notes that someone who plays on the Core i7-powered MSI Gaming Stealth 15M can’t play any games on Mac. Apple computers are also mocked for their Touch Bars, non-touch-enabled displays, M1 multi-monitor support, and grayscaling options.
Justin Long is generally said to have started grinding Apple, which began to part ways with itself after M1 processors with Intel’s Go PC series ads.
