Sony, which once dominated the smartphone market, has suffered sharp declines, especially after Chinese manufacturers weighed in on the market. Although the Japanese manufacturer tries its luck with its new models, it is still not very popular with users. Looks like the company’s going to come up with a compact phone this time. This device, called Xperia Ace 2, was previously leaked with render images and is now seen on the Google Play Console.
The Xperia Ace 2, which is expected to come as a successor to Xperia Ace, again does not seem to meet expectations when we look at its features. As an alternative, there are already many phones, and Ace 2 has features that will lag in this group.
Sony’s new compact phone Xperia Ace 2; will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, which is octa-core and runs up to 2.3 GHz. The biggest drawback of the device arises here. Because the Helio P35 chipset doesn’t even support 5G networks. In addition, Sony will include the option of 4 GB of RAM in its new smartphone. Of course, it is necessary to make a separate parenthesis on how much memory in this capacity will be sufficient in daily use.
According to the Google Play Console list, the Xperia Ace 2 will be equipped with a screen with a resolution of 720 x 1496 pixels. Although the size of the screen is not fully mentioned here, we estimate that it will be no more than 5.2 inches.
This phone, on the other hand, will have a longitudinal camera setup on the back. In addition, the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the side of the device. On the software side, Ace 2 will come out of the box directly with the Android 11 operating system. There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the device.
