Sony Xperia 10 III will be introduced very soon

Sony’s Xperia 10 III model appeared, which will be included in the middle segment. Here are the features of the phone, which will be introduced soon.

Earlier this year, Sony announced its first 5G smartphones in the Xperia 1 II and Xperia Pro format. Both devices came with Snapdragon 865, a platform with a 5G modem. The Japanese firm has unveiled its 5G-enabled flagship, as well as the Xperia 10 II, a mid-range smartphone. But unfortunately, this model came with the Snapdragon 665 SoC. Since then, the 5G has become quite popular with more and more middle-class phones that have emerged with fifth-generation network support. It seems Sony is aware of this demand and will launch a 5G mid-range phone next year, dubbed the Sony Xperia 10 III.

Sony Xperia 10 III will be the firm’s first mid-range phone with 5G capability

We have announced that Xperia 10 II Plus has been cancelled in recent weeks. Apparently, Sony canceled the phone to work on a mid-segment phone with a 5G connection. Sony is working on two phones with 5G support, according to nodsikharulidze. One will be a flagship with the Snapdragon 875 and the other will be a mid-segment phone with the Snapdragon 690 chipset.

As well as the new Xperia phones, Nodsikharulidze is also working on an affordable phone with the Sony Helio P35 chipset. The Helio P35 is not a new chipset, so we don’t expect Sony to invest in marketing for this device. The new smartphone could be called the Xperia L5.

The Xperia 1 III, Xperia 10 III and L5 are expected to arrive in the first half of 2021. For the second half, Sony could introduce its Xperia 5 III flagship device. Sony is struggling to keep its smartphone business alive. Apparently, they will be ambitious about it next year, too.
