It’s been a question of what Sony’s response to Xbox Game Pass will be for some time. According to the latest announcements, Sony is developing a system exclusive to PlayStation that is scheduled to deliver a unique experience.
We all know that Sony and Microsoft are rivals, especially in terms of consoles. The increased competition between them is always turning into a scenario that the players win. That’s why it’s been a wonder what Sony’s response to Xbox Game Pass will be for some time. Sony seems to be working on an answer to Xbox Cloud Gaming, though we can’t say directly to Game Pass.
Although Sony has a cloud service called PlayStation Now, it seems to have a different plan in the future. Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, who recently participated in the interview, said they are currently working on a unique and PlayStation-specific cloud experience.
Jim Ryan said the service is not ready to be announced at this time but will announce it when it’s ready. Unfortunately, he didn’t give any clues as to what features the system would have.
As we said, Sony already has a service called PlayStation Now, but it is worth noting that it is not very popular. Although it contains important productions, it is not even available all over the world. Jim Ryan also said that in this generation, PlayStation will have more exclusive games than ever before.
