Instant messaging application Snapchat has implemented a new feature. Creators will now have the opportunity to showcase their subscriber numbers on their profiles. This will allow many brands to choose the people they will deal with. The application, which entered our lives 9 years ago, has thus integrated a feature that has been in competing applications for a very long time.
Snapchat now allows creators to show how many subscribers they have on their profiles. This feature will allow users to provide clear metric information about their followers and audience for the first time. A Snapchat official speaking to The Verge on the subject; “We’ve listened to feedback from our creator community and many of them said they wanted to have the option to see how big the communities on Snapchat are. That’s why we decided to make the subscriber numbers visible. Content creators will be able to turn this feature on or off in the settings as they wish ”.
The company also introduced content creator profiles last September, which help users on the platform learn more about their audience and help them coordinate with brands. Thus, the company wanted to become a platform that people saw as an opportunity for business by getting more interaction.
