South Korean tech giant Samsung has released a major software update for its smartwatches. The new version improves the performance of the Wi-Fi and Messaging app.
Samsung developers have released a new system update for the first Galaxy Watch to debut in 2018 and the Galaxy Watch 3 was released last year.
The first generation Galaxy Watch gets version R800XXU1FUD1. The version number of the software update released for Galaxy Watch 3 is R840XXU1BUD1.
The approximately 35 MB update improves the performance of the Wi-Fi and Messaging app on smartwatches. Some improvements will improve overall quality.
While fixing small bugs in the software, developers also made some touches that will positively reflect on the stability and battery life of the devices.
The Galaxy Watch system update is now being rolled out in South Korea. Galaxy Watch 3’s new firmware has been released in the US, Canada, India, and South Korea. It will soon be available to users in other regions.
