Samsung is preparing for the launch of an affordable device in India on Monday, April 5, as confirmed in official promotions. We expect to see two new phones as part of the release. Galaxy F02s and Samsung Galaxy F12.
It’s no secret that F-series devices are typically just rebranded M-series devices. Therefore, for details about F02s, you can check out the features of the corresponding Galaxy M02s. Galaxy F12 is a device that provides a match with the Galaxy M12. We were already sure that this would be the case, but a GeekBench list that has now been removed and an official Samsung support page has now proven with certainty that the F12 and M12 are essentially the same phone. Let’s start with the listing of the support page, as there is simpler evidence. The page in question is for SM-F127G/DS. However, if you follow the user manual download link on it, you will see a file that also lists the SM-M127F and SM-M127G device numbers. The GeekBench list for the Samsung SM-F127G provides even more evidence that the two devices are the same. That is, the Exynos 850 chipset and 4 GB of RAM appear on the specific unit being tested. If the Galaxy F12 borrows the entire list of memory options from the M12, it can also be offered with 3GB and 6GB of RAM with expandable storage from 32GB to 128GB. However, memory configurations may vary between F12 and M12.
Beyond that, the Galaxy F12 features Samsung’s 48MP ISOCELL GM2 sensor – a 1/2.25″ sensor with 0.8 μm pixels and a 6.5-inch, HD+, 90Hz PLS IPS display with Tetracell technology and a stylish quad camera setup. The device is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery and includes a 3.5mm audio jack and side-mounted fingerprint reader in a special order.
