Information about the devices was leaked before Samsung introduced its upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 phones. In particular, technical specifications and pricing information went viral, although an official announcement was scheduled for March 17.
The Galaxy A52 5G also had information for the 4G variant thanks to an anonymous whistleblower. According to the site and our source, the phone is not only listed. It is also already effectively sold in Kenya for 35,000 KSH (equivalent to about €270). We must admit that this figure is much more affordable than the figures ranging from €365 to €450, which we saw in previous Samsung Galaxy A52 5G offers.
Apart from that, the store page itself announced that it will use Snapdragon 720G instead of Snapdragon 750G. Rumors that the 4G version will essentially be the same as the big 5G symd have been confirmed. Other features of the Galaxy A52 include a 6.5″ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 64 MP main + 8 MP ultra-wide + 5 MP macro camera. It also features a 2 MP depth sensor and a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The device sold in the Kenyan store has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Nevertheless, a higher layer 8GB/264GB variant is also expected to arrive. The 4G and 5G versions of the phone, which will come with IP67 or IP68 water resistance certificates, will have a notch-free design. The devices will come with the Android 11 operating system and the One UI 3.1 interface. The official introduction of the phone is expected on March 17.
