Although the RTX 3080 Ti has not been officially announced, we have seen quite a lot of leaks about it. We’re skeptical of all of them because we’ve heard so many claims about the card. A photo posted on Reddit shows the box of an RTX 3080 Ti belonging to MSI. However, the price information given in the post was shocking.
The MSI Suprim X series graphics card was spotted at a store in the United Arab Emirates, according to Reddit user FaisalKhatib. Although the post has been removed by Nvidia subreddit officials, the discussion continues under the post. Some users say this photo isn’t real, while others say it could be real, as it is for the RTX 3060.
We can say that the photos look quite real. Before the shipment was removed, the price tag was set at $3,500. Since the photo belongs to the United Arab Emirates, such an extreme price can be met normally. It will most likely come up at its normal price when the card is announced.
The RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti will be unveiled on May 31, VideoCardz reported. According to the same source, the card’s review videos will be available for RTX 3070 Ti on June 9 and RTX 3080 Ti on June 2. The 3080 Ti will have 12GB of memory with 10,240 CUDA cores. The 3070 Ti will have 6,144 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6X memory.
Although may 31st has been marked for the launch date, so many leaks have been raised for both video cards that there are not many details to worry about. The most curious detail right now is the price of the card. Since the RTX 3080 costs $699, we can expect a $1,000 price tag for the Ti model. Of course, we will find out these details on the day of the launch.
