Xiaomi has announced that its Redmi Note series smartphones have surpassed the worldwide sales figure of 200 million. The company has managed to sell 60 million Redmi Note smartphones in the last six months.
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has officially announced that it has shipped more than 200 million Redmi Note smartphones to date. In November last year, the company announced that the Redmi Note series had reached 140 million sales.
It seems that Xiaomi has managed to sell another 60 million Redmi Note smartphones in the intervening six months. The company attributes the popularity of Redmi Note series phones to its strategy of offering high-quality products with high-end features for as little as $150.
Let’s remember that the first smartphone in the Redmi Note series was released in 2014. Xiaomi will introduce its new Redmi Note 10 series smartphones on May 26. On the same day, Xiaomi China President and Redmi CEO Lu Weibing will give a speech on the global chip crisis, shedding light on how this affects the company.
