Important purchase for Qualcomm

Qualcomm plans to integrate Nuvia’s CPUs into its entire product portfolio, including smartphone and next-generation laptop processors, advanced drive support systems, and infrastructure network systems. Nuvia’s founders Gerard Williams, Manu Gulati, John Bruno and company employees will join Qualcomm upon completion of the acquisition.

Qualcomm’s press release included messages from 22 partners expressing the excitement over the merger of the two companies. These partners include Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Bosch, General Motors, HMD, HP, Lenovo, LG Electronics, OnePlus, OPPO, Renault, Sony, and Xiaomi.
