The possible design and some key features of the M1X-based Mac mini, which Apple is set to release this year, have been revealed. John Prosser shared important details about the M1X-based Mac mini.
In his latest video, Jon Prosser, a sensation known for his high-accuracy leaks about Apple’s new products, shared some details about the design and key features of the M1X-based Mac mini, which will be released in the coming months.
According to Prosser, Apple will offer a next-generation industrial design on its small desktop computer. The Mac mini with an M1X processor will replace the space-gray Intel-based Mac mini, while the M1 Mac mini will remain on sale and will be available as the most affordable Mac.
The 2021 Mac mini is said to come with a slimmer case. Its top panel will be covered with a bright surface similar to plexiglass. The Cupertino company may be planning to offer new two-tone color options for its small desktop computer.
As you know, on the Mac mini with an M1 processor, the number of available ports was reduced due to restrictions on the first generation Apple Silicon design.
The M1X chip will allow Apple to once again offer a complete range of ports, including four USB4/Thunderbolt 3, two USB-A, Ethernet, and HDMI ports.
It looks like the company will use the same magnetic power connector as the iMac with an M1 processor on the 2021 Mac mini. Bloomberg’s report, released last week, said the new Mac mini would be powered by a 10-core M1X processor.
