Oppo will offer at least 3 years of support for its new flagship device, the Find X3 series, which it unveiled in March, instead of traditional 2-year support.
Oppo, which has achieved significant success since entering the European smartphone market in 2018, announced to a Netherlands-based publication about its new flagship phone, the Find X3 series, which it introduced in March.
Oppo, which informs Android Planet about the updated policy of the Find X3 series, extends the two-year security updates it provides for most of its phones to three years in the Find X3 series. Oppo is also testing whether it would be appropriate to extend its support for the Find X3 series to four years.
Starting a new path with the Find X3 series, the company may provide longer security updates in the future, except for its flagship phones. Currently, Samsung remains at the forefront of the Android side with support for up to four years.
