Oppo is preparing to announce its first Wear OS-based smartwatch with ECG functionality.
Oppo plans to launch one of the most interesting Wear OS-based smartwatches this year. Oppo introduced the new slim-profile watch Oppo Watch in March. The Chinese company is preparing to bring EKG feature to the new version of the Oppo Watch model it introduced. The smart watch was a clone of the Apple Watch.
In addition, the Oppo Watch features a “3D Curved” display similar to those found on the company’s smartphones and is backed by a dual-chip solution that combines the power efficiency of an Ambiq Apollo 3 coprocessor alongside the Snapdragon Wear 3100. SuperVOOC fast charging technology integration, which can fully charge the battery in 75 minutes, is also among the features of the smart watch.
In the new version, the company not only mimics the general look and feel of the Apple Watch, but also adds ECG functionality on the Apple Watch to the new model smartwatch. This feature was expected to arrive for months, but there was no approval from health officials for the official launch. However, this problem must have been solved, as the new teaser published on the Oppo Weibo page mentions that the smart watch will be introduced on September 24.
Finally, it should be noted that Oppo’s new smartwatch will have a price tag of $ 369.
