Opera’s iOS app gets a cleaner look and a shorter name. Opera is celebrating the third anniversary of its existing iOS browser with some changes. First of all, the name of the app is no longer Opera Touch. The scanner will now only be used under the name Opera.
The app also gets a refreshed look, as you can immediately tell from the fine-tuned app icon. The theme of the app will now be red instead of purple.
The revamped app will have a cleaner look
In the new view, the subbar and quick action icons are refreshed with less opaque icons. According to Opera, the shadows were removed due to bubbles and other elements. The diagonal background has been removed to provide a smoother, smoother appearance. On the other hand, in the app, the colors that maintain the long-standing minimalist look have been updated.
Opera said the number of iOS users increased by more than 65 percent in the 12 months to February. The company claims the increase is due to Apple’s decision to allow its users to change their default browser in iOS 14.

The redesigned iOS Opera app will be available for download in the App Store today. In addition, opera will gradually offer the update to existing users.
