After the phone and television industry, Nokia rolled up its sleeves to enter the laptop business. In 2021, Nokia’s product line will expand.
The year 2020 has been rather complicated for most smartphone makers and tech-related companies. In the first months of 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic and disruptions in demand and sales of smartphones hit firms hard. But the situation reversed in the last quarter. Nokia has considered rolling out a range of 5G smartphones for the first half of 2020. But the outbreak has caused the phones to be delayed. More importantly, the so-called Nokia 9.3 PureView, about which we have been writing for a long time, does not seem to be coming this year.
Nokia is said to be working on phone and television models, as well as a laptop model for this year, but was unable to introduce it due to the outbreak. The Nokia laptop model, which has been postponed until 2021, has proven its embodiment by receiving BIS certification today.
A number of Nokia’s new products will be introduced in 2021. Unfortunately, not much is known about these new devices. It is likely that Nokia will focus on the ecosystem such as Huawei and Xiaomi in 2021 and produce devices compatible with each other.
So far, we believe HMD Global and Nokia are almost complete by 2020, as the company appears to have no devices on the horizon for a December release. Nokia has probably made all its plans for next year. Let’s see if the company that comes to life again with Android can succeed in the field of laptops?
