Next-generation Google Pixel Buds gets Bluetooth certified
Pixel Buds, the next generation wireless headset model announced by Google last October, has received Bluetooth certification. The device is expected to be released in the spring with two model options.
Technology giant Google announced Pixel 4 smartphones and the next generation Pixel Buds wireless headset model at its launch event MadeByGoogle last October. Details about the new generation of Pixel Buds, which were still in the prototype stage at the time, started to slowly unfold.
May go on shelves
Pixel Buds model finally appeared on the Bluetooth Certification list. The G1007 and G1008 model numbers on the list also strengthen the claims that Pixel Buds will come in two variants. The wireless headset model also received Bluetooth 5.0 certification, which puts the Next generation Pixel Buds into the mobile phone accessory category.
Additionally, it is stated that the device will not support Qualcomm’s aptX codec. Because Pixel Buds does not contain Qualcomm hardware and the chipset is produced by Bestechnic company. Wireless headsets, which are scheduled to hit the shelves in the spring of this year, are expected to be ready until the Google I / O event in May.
