New step for iPad and MacBook production from Foxconn!
Foxconn, Apple’s key partner in manufacturing, has come up with a new move. The allegedly Foxconn, iPad and MacBook assembly line will be moved to Bac Giang, a Vietnamese province.
Foxconn iPad and MacBook assembly line moves to Vietnam
Foxconn, which announced workers for its manufacturing plant in Zhengzhou city, had stepped up production of the iPhone 12. The company, which raised the issue by paying wages to people who contribute to the search for workers by proposing a colleague, is now moving its assembly lines to different countries.
It is not yet known what kind of dialogue is going on between Apple and Foxconn. But Apple is alleged to have asked Foxconn to reduce its reliance on China because of tensions between the US and China.
An unnamed company employee leaked that the Foxconn iPad and MacBook assembly plants would be moved to a new assembly line in Vietnam’s Bac Giang Province. Foxconn, which has left questions about this unanswered, will allegedly start production in the first half of 2021.
Foxconn-owned FuKang Technology Co. Co. it said the $ 270 million subsidiary would be used for growth in Vietnam. It is not yet known whether the firm, called BYD Electronic International, which is known as the other iPad supplier in China, will take any steps in this regard.
