Security researchers announced in the Bluetooth wireless protocol that they have discovered a new vulnerability that leaves millions of devices vulnerable to attacks.
A group of security researchers discovered a critical vulnerability in the Bluetooth wireless protocol that left millions of devices vulnerable to attacks. Using this vulnerability, data between the two devices can be monitored.
The chips of giant manufacturers are vulnerable
According to security researchers, the new Bluetooth vulnerability makes it possible for attackers to forcibly bypass the Bluetooth pairing procedure and attack millions of Bluetooth devices that transfer data. The devices are also vulnerable to this danger, even if paired before.

Security researchers said they tested 24 different devices working on 17 different Bluetooth chips and all of the chips from manufacturers such as Broadcom, Qualcomm, Apple, Intel and Chicony are vulnerable to this vulnerability. Some major technology companies such as Apple, Intel, and Microsoft have released patches about this vulnerability, and if your device has not been updated since 2018, it is strongly recommended that you install these patches.
