Motorola’s smartphones will soon be able to be charged wirelessly “remotely”.
We are all used to wireless charging on smartphones, but as we know the range of wireless charging is quite short. For now, wireless charging technology, which can only work by contact method, will get “remote” wireless charging with soon-to-be-introduced smartphones.
Motorola’s parent company, Lenovo, introduced an air charging system earlier this year that can charge multiple phones remotely. Now, this system is preparing to come to smartphones.
The company collaborated with GuRu on this technology. Phones that will be the first to benefit from wireless charging technology, which you can also watch in the video above, will also come to Motorola. Referred to as proprietary intelligent RF lensing technology, it uses millimeter-wave integrated circuits and modules. It is not difficult to say that Motorola devices previously used in the testing phase will be real shortly. But Lenovo and Motorola are not the only companies working in this field. Xiaomi also introduced the concept of a remote wireless charging system called the Mi Air Charge earlier this year. Of course, it will take time to implement and widely adopt this technology, but it certainly creates excitement.
