The first information came today about the release date of the MIUI 12.5 UI, announced by Xiaomi’s new products director and MIUI public relations manager Jin Fan.
According to the information transferred; Open beta testing of MIUI 12.5 will begin in early January. Developers will quickly collect user feedback and receive weekly firmware updates with fixes and new features. As for the stable global version of the firmware, it looks like it will only be released in March next year.
According to Jin Fan, MIUI 12.5 is a completely new version of the user interface. He added that the MIUI development team has recently undergone a restructuring process and is significantly stronger. According to reports, MIUI 12.5 could bring a new mode of collaboration between smartphones and computers, further improving animation and increasing the security of personal data.
Despite the launch of MIUI 12.5, the company plans to launch the MIUI 13 UI as well next year, which will be optimized specifically for folding screen smartphones.
