Software giant Microsoft will unveil a new version of its Windows operating system on June 24. The fact that the Sun Valley code-named update includes a wide range of changes increases the likelihood that the next generation of Windows will come up with a number change.

According to Evan Blass, one of the technology industry’s trusted sources of information, Microsoft will change the number of its operating system. So this means that Sun Valley will be called Windows 11. Different details reinforce the claim.

In the teaser released by Microsoft, the light passing through the window casts a shadow similar to the number “11” on the ground. This unobtrusive detail was interpreted as the company may have given a subtle hint. In about 20 days, all this will be clear.

Microsoft administrator Yusuf Mahdi said in a statement that he has never been more excited about a new version of Windows since Windows 95. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says this will be one of the most important Windows updates of the last decade.
