Tech giant Microsoft has innovated to improve performance on both mobile and desktop as it releases Skype’s 8.68 update.
After microsoft, one of the largest in the software industry, made an effort to implement Microsoft Teams, it was thought that Skype’s shoes would be thrown at the checker. In a statement, the firm said it had no plans to give up Skype.
Some features of Skype were also recently added to the standard features of Windows 10. With features like Meet Now, users with Windows 10 were able to make voice or video calls without creating any memberships.

The new version of Skype includes an updated reaction tool. This also makes it possible to see a stronger number of reactions on the same screen. Thus, the application has a more colorful appearance.
It also stands out that in general, many bugs are eliminated for both the desktop and mobile versions, resulting in a much smoother use. This version also features background support that makes it possible to blur the background in video calls.
Announcing the new update, Microsoft said it could also take a few days for these features to reach all users. So if you don’t have new features in your app right now, you don’t have to worry. In a few days you will be able to get a new version.
With Skype 8.68, many of the app’s issues are solved. At the very beginning of these is the problem of sound loss or interruption in voicemails, which can be annoying. We also see improvements to the virtual camera for macOS.
