Microsoft, which posted a survey of Xbox players via its console interface, asked gamers if they wanted to use Bitcoin as one of the alternative payment method options.
Cryptocurrencies remain a major topic of discussion for financial experts and economists. As these discussions of financiers continue, tech giants continue to adopt cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, every day.
Microsoft, one of the world’s largest technology companies, recently presented a short four-question survey to Xbox users. The most notable thing about Microsoft’s survey through the Xbox interface was the Bitcoin detail.
Before we go into details, let’s mention the questions microsoft posed to players in the survey;
- How do you pay for things on Xbox right now?
- What do you think of the number of supported payment methods for purchasing something on Xbox?
- Which other payment methods would you like to use on Xbox?
- Have you ever decided not to buy anything on Xbox because your preferred payment method is not available?
Microsoft has also added an option for “Bitcoin”, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, in response to the question “Which other payment methods would you like to use on Xbox?” Microsoft’s view of Bitcoin as a payment method alternative has excited both cryptocurrency investors and players.
As a matter of fact, Microsoft is already partnering with Neo, a digital currency. However, at the moment, Xbox users cannot count any cryptocurrency or in-game products. However, Microsoft may add a Bitcoin payment option to Xbox based on players’ interest in the Bitcoin option.
