Meizu organized a survey on the form factor of his first foldable phone, which he plans to launch. The Chinese brand, which was purchased by the car manufacturer Geely, received the idea of consumers about the design of the device, which will allow it to step into this segment.
The company has released images of three types of foldable phones on the market. That is, the screen that can be folded horizontally or outwardly and the Galaxy Z Flip style vertically folded model. Users were asked to vote for the option they prefer.
As a result, 76.3 %of the respondents voted for vertical folding design. The Galaxy Fold Style Classic Form Factor received 17.8 %, while the display option was preferred by less than 6 %of users.
Meizu has not yet officially announced when it will launch its first foldable phone. However, according to the results of the survey, the company’s first foldable phone will be a vertically folded model with the Galaxy Z Flip style.
