Apple CEO Tim Cook said Mac computers with Apple Silicon processors outperform Intel-based Macs in sales. Macs with M1 processors are on the attack.
Apple boss Tim Cook made some important remarks at the recent Spring Loaded event. The experienced executive said the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini models with M1 processors perform better than Intel-based Macs.
As you may recall, Apple announced at the WWDC 2020 conference that it will gradually transition from Intel processors to its ARM-based processors within two years. The Cupertino-based company currently sells four Apple Silicon-based Macs. Soon the product portfolio in this category will expand even further.
According to the latest information, the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models and the 27-inch iMac will join apple Silicon-powered devices before the end of the year. Cook will likely provide more details about Mac sales with M1 processors in his earnings report for April 28.
