Serving as Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO comes with its new smartphone, the Z3 5G. There are no concrete details about the expected model yet. But the launch date of the device has finally appeared.
Last week, Vivo came up with the iQOO Neo 5. The device was introduced with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with advanced hardware capabilities. The model came with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display and was available with 8/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone, available to consumers at $385, generated a lot of attention on the market. Now we’re just days away from meeting another model of the company.
When will the iQOO Z3 5G be released?
Vivo has yet to comment on the iQOO Z3 5G phone. However, the Chinese retail site JD.com shared with consumers the release date of the expected model. The released promotional poster did not show the design of the phone. Likewise, the highlights were not given. But perhaps most importantly, the release date of the device finally came to light on the poster.
The launch day for the iQOO Z3 with 5G connectivity was announced as March 25. The device, which will be unveiled on Thursday, will first go on sale in China; then it was learned that it would open up to the global market.
The specifications of the Z3 5G have been leaked online
The iQOO Z3 5G phone appeared on the Google Play Console list. The device, published with the model number Vivo V2073A, did not hesitate to give us some details, albeit a small one. The model, which appears with the Qualcomm SM7250 chipset, will be released with one of the Snapdragon 765, Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 768G processors.
According to the details on the list, the device will work with the Android 11 operating system as soon as it is out of the box. Probably the phone will open with the OriginOS user interface. It will also come with 1080 x 2408 pixels Full HD+ resolution. The model, which will be prepared with a capacity of 6GB of RAM, has also previously been certified at 3C. This showed us that the iQOO Z3 5G will come with 55W fast charging. This means a 25 per cent increase in charging performance compared to the previous model in the series, the Z1.
We will only be able to confirm all this and more on Thursday, March 25. And what do you expect from Z3 5G? Don’t forget to share your ideas with us.
