Technology giant Intel shared a detailed video about Super Sampling Technology, which will debut with Arc Alchemist graphics cards. The new technology will work without AI cores.
Arc Alchemist GPUs, which Intel will compete with in the desktop graphics industry, will debut next year. Along with Arc Alchemist graphics cards, the company will also launch DLSS, FidelityFX (FSR-like XeSS Super Sampling Technology) owned by Nvidia and AMD, and plans to greatly improve gaming performance.
Intel unveiled the XeSS system running on the Arc Alchemist graphics card and shared a new video in 4K resolution so that all the differences can be seen compared to previously shared videos. Considering that Nvidia has support from hardware-based Tensor cores, XeSS can work on existing graphics cards and sets standards similar to AMD’s FSR.
When we look at the shared content, we can say that XeSS provides a very clear image with the option of a 4K upgrade compared to 1080P resolution. In addition, Intel chose to keep FPS values for comparison. With the release of the new graphics cards, all the details will be waiting for us.
