Instagram will launch a new tool where users can filter offensive posts. This feature primarily targets influencers and celebrities who receive a high number of comments and messages.
Shortly, the Instagram social network will begin analyzing offensive phrases, words, and emojis and automatically filtering messages containing aggression. Users will be able to add words they don’t want to see to the list.
Let’s note that the new tool can be activated on demand. Initially, it will only be available in some countries, and then the list of regions will expand. The filter can be enabled at any time or disabled by the user if desired.
Also, Instagram will launch a feature that will allow users to block the unwanted person’s account and subsequent accounts created by that person after they are blocked. It is expected to be available worldwide in the coming weeks.
Let’s also remember that last week, Instagram launched another test that allowed users to independently disable the like counter under posts.
