Sony was said to be preparing to take off a smartphone equipped with six rear and two front cameras. Images revealing the camera’s design and camera details have been published.
Sony Mobile was said to work on a smartphone with eight cameras, but there was no clear information about it. Eventually equipped with six rear and double front cameras, the images of the device fell to the internet. In addition, some important details about the six-camera system came to light.
The images posted by Twitter on Max J show that the Sony smartphone will come with a total of eight cameras, six on the back and two on the front. The sensors in the rear camera system are listed as follows:
- 48 megapixel [f1.2/2.4]
- 20 megapixel [f2.4]
- 16 megapixel [f2.4]
- 12 megapixel [f1.2/2.4]
- 8 megapiksel [f2.4]
- 0.5 megapiksel ToF
The front of the smartphone is said to have a dual camera system with a 10 megapixel main sensor and a 0.3 megapixel ToF sensor. Apart from all this information, there is no information about the technical specifications of the device yet. We hope that more concrete information will emerge in the coming days.
