The Trump government’s ban on financial transfers of any US citizen, firm, or related organization through WeChat may reduce iPhone sales.
The US, which leaves the back doors to the Chinese government and deals with cybercrime, is beginning to impose an embargo on Chinese brands, which is likely to have a great impact on these brands, but US companies may also suffer.
Last year, signed by Trump, Huawei was granted permission to supply American companies and foreign companies using US equipment. After that, financial transfers through the application were TikTok prohibited. Tencent WeChat has been added to this list.

Analysis expert Min-Chi Kuo, known for his proximity to Apple. He believes that a ban on the transfer of money through WeChat or mobile payments will negatively affect.
It is not yet clear whether this instruction of Trump is valid in the App Store in the United States or in all world stores, but WeChat has become a pillar of many enterprises with opportunities such as cash transit and mobile payments. In this regard, the user audience will also not focus on the original US applications, such as WhatsApp or Hangouts, which cannot provide such an opportunity, except for WeChat.
The ability to transfer through WeChat on iPhone devices can affect sales due to these elements. Kuo foresees a decrease in sales of iPhone to 25-30 percent in the event of a ban. Sales of other related devices, such as the AirPods, iPad or Apple Watch, can also drop to 15-25 percent.
It is not known whether such a blow to sales from one application will overcome, but Kuo is an analysis expert who holds the pulse of the market very well. If the ban WeChat spreads around the world, this may happen, but if it remains on the US border, its impact is likely to be insignificant.
