Chinese tech giant Huawei has confirmed the date of the event, where it will unveil its new products, as of May 19. The company will announce a range of new products for children, from smartwatches to monitors.
In a poster posted on its official Weibo account, Huawei confirmed that it will hold an event on May 19 with the title “All Scenario Smart Life”. It is thought the company will unveil several other devices at the event, including a new laptop, headphones, and a smartwatch for children.
Huawei is expected to announce MateBook 16 laptops, Children’s Watch 4X smartwatches, FreeBuds 4 headphones, Body Fat Scale 3 Pro smart scale, business-oriented MateView, and game-oriented MateView GT monitors at the event on May 19. In addition, there is a slight chance that new TVs will be released in the SE series.
Huawei MateView curved monitors will come in 32-inch and 42-inch screen sizes. The gaming-focused monitor will come with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, while the business-oriented monitor will offer a resolution of 4500 x 3000 pixels.
According to leaked information from sources close to Huawei, the company was said to hold two events, the first of which would take place on May 19. The leaks correctly knew the date of the first event and pointed to June 2 for the other event.
It is thought that the Watch 3 smartwatch series, matepad Pro 2 tablet, and Huawei P50 smartphone series will be introduced at the June 2 event, which is expected to take place.
