Facebook is developing a new version of Instagram where users under the age of 13 can spend time safely. Important details have emerged about the company’s plans going forward.

Social media giant Facebook is developing a new version of Instagram for children under the age of 13. As you know, under Insagram’s current policy, this age group is not allowed to use the app. Some details of the company’s work in this direction have been revealed.
According to Instagram Vice President Vishal Shah, a safe version of Instagram for children only needs to be created. In a message to social networking employees, the experienced executive explained that they have made building an Instagram version that younger users can safely spend time with one of the company’s top goals.
As we mentioned in the introduction, there is currently a 13 age limit on Instagram. However, it is possible to easily circumvent this ban. The social media platform recently announced that it is preparing to implement new policies restricting interaction between adults and young people.
Instagram wants to make the platform safer for younger users and will prevent adults from sending messages to teens who don’t follow them. It will also show some security alerts to younger users who try to correspond with adults who look suspicious.
