Google’s rival DuckDuckGo breaks record

With data privacy on the agenda, search engine DuckDuckGo has experienced a record traffic increase. Google’s competitor, the search engine founded in 2008, stands out for its emphasis on personal confidential and open source.

DuckDuckGo, with its daily number of calls, has reached the highest number in its history

The most important of the founding principles of us-based DuckDuckGo was data privacy. The search engine says it does not store its users’ data, and has been increasing its number of users significantly in recent years. The issue of privacy, which is on the agenda due to WhatsApp, is thought to have allowed the search engine to break records.

Google rival DuckDuckGo has overturned 100 million calls for the first time in a day, the highest number of searches it has reached in a day in its history. DuckDuckGo, which had around 77 million calls on the first day of January, has a large share of the data privacy issue in its overthrow of 100 million.

To give an example of how DuckDuckGo, Google’s competitor, does not store data; The search engine does not record users’ search history, so that everyone who does the same search on DucDuckGo instead of personal results sees the same results.

While DuckDuckGo’s promise of privacy is safely addressed by many, let’s remember that the issue of data privacy on the internet is not easy on any platform.
