The astrophotography mode is one of the basic camera features of Google Pixel 4. This evening during Saturday Night Live, Google released an ad about Night Sight, described by Stephen Hawking.
Google’s Pixel 4 ad was posted on YouTube this Monday. The video showed the night vision star shooting mode titled Astr Astrophotography with Pixel 4 ır. Google didn’t hesitate to show the phone on a tripod while all the shots were taken far from city lights. The video also shows the countdown on the Google camera UI screen.
The famous cosmologist and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, who passed away on March 14, 2018, gives a nice talk about how to look into space in the video. It looks like a pretty good video ending with “Google Pixel 4 includes the Stars adan before you start the phone and its mode for the last time.
Take a look at the video with Stephen Hawking’s narration:
We are explorers by nature. The curiosity that sends us to the stars at the speed of thought also wants us to actually go there. Every time we make a big leap, we raise humanity, bring people and nations together, use new discoveries and new technologies. So don’t forget to look at the stars, not at your feet. Be curious.
The final scene of this Pixel 4 Astrophotography ad finishes with a Google ’G’ symbol to make it look like the Moon. This is not the first time Google has used a celebrity in a video. A Google Lens-focused ad for Pixel 3 was described by Mister Rogers. There was also a Maya Angelou commercial for Google Duo.
