Google will soon expand its full family of wireless headphones with a new model. Android’s official Twitter account shared an image of the so-called Pixel Buds A.
We’ve heard before that Google is preparing to release an affordable wireless headset. This time, the company posted a photo of the model, called Pixel Buds A, on Android’s official Twitter account.
The posted image was later deleted, but the screenshot had already been recorded. The new wireless headset looks like it will have a similar design to the Pixel Buds. It will also offer an updated Quick Match experience.
Google is expected to make some concessions to bring down the cost of the Pixel Buds A. Wireless headphones can offer less battery life. Also among the features that are likely to be removed are liquid splash protection and wireless charging.
There is no information on when the Google Pixel Buds A will be introduced. However, the new wireless headset could be announced at the Google I/O 2021 conference on May 18-20.
