While the GPU increased to 2.580 MHz in liquid nitrogen overclocking, the GDDR6X memory was able to reach speeds of 21.5 Gbps.
The GeForce RTX 3090, the most powerful game card on the planet, was overclocked as if it wasn’t enough. Vince “K | NGP | N ”Lucido took the top spot in Port Royal with its EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K | NGP | N model, which has not yet been released for sale.
Lucido normally achieved high speeds with the help of liquid nitrogen (LN2) and reached an impressive clock speed of 2,580 MHz. The overclocker also overclocked GDDR6X memory, boosting it to 21.5 Gbps speeds, which is as fast as 10.3% from reference specs. Lucido, who got 16,673 points, became the holder of the new world record in the Port Royal benchmark.
The GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition is powered by NVIDIA’s 12-pin PCIe power connector, which can theoretically provide up to 540W of power. The GeForce RTX 3090 K | NGP | N model comes in a more traditional design with three 8-pin PCIe power connectors. This specially prepared graphics card can reach high power consumption levels in parallel with its high overclocking capability.
