Firefox 81 update, which brought many innovations, was released.
Firefox 81 version was announced by Mozilla. With the update, voice and video control from your keyboard or headset, a new browser theme called Alpenglow, and auto-fill credit card information for users in the USA and Canada are offered.
With Firefox 81, the Alpenglow theme, primarily in purple-blue colors, is added between the default Light and Dark theme options. Thanks to the ability to pause and play audio and video from your keyboard or headset in the new Firefox, it is now possible for you to better control your browser environment even when you are locked in another Firefox tab, in another program or on your computer. AcroForm support, which allows you to fill out, print and save supported PDF forms, is also a prominent innovation of the version. To accompany this, Mozilla has also given a brand new look to the PDF viewer.
With the launch of Firefox 77 in June, Mozilla introduced Pocket integration to its browser for users in the UK. With the new update, users in Austria, Belgium and Switzerland using the German version of Firefox will now be able to see Pocket suggestions on the new tab page. Although it does not concern us, users in the US and Canada will benefit from the ability to save, manage and auto-fill their credit and debit card information when shopping online.
Mozilla states that the update will be rolled out automatically in the coming days. In addition, it should be noted that you can update manually from the Help> About menu.
