FileZilla software is starting package ad offerings with its new version. There’s nothing wrong with those who’ve already downloaded it, but the new downloaders will be exposed to ads.
There are numerous open sources and free software available on Windows to meet the need. However, due to commercial concerns, we see that free software is starting to turn to advertising.
FileZilla, one of the most admired FTP software on the Windows platform, has started to offer advertising offers to its users with a critical change. The change was made to the application’s Windows installation software.
Previously, the FileZilla Windows setup file; could be downloaded simply via the page. Now a note is attached just below the Windows setup file and it is indicated that the file can offer package offers.
Package offers are usually in the form of advertising-style product or app offers. Those who have already downloaded the FileZilla app are fine, but those who will download it again or download it for the first time will be exposed to these offers.
Experts recommend that people using FTP switch to different ad-free alternatives, such as WinSCP, if not mandatory, or research previous ad-free versions of the FileZilla app.
