Social media giant Facebook has exited the account of almost all iPhone users as of Friday night. Users who closed their sessions without any basis started a strange topic of agenda on Twitter.
Anyone who accesses Facebook via iPhone needs to log in again
Facebook is unexplateally signing out of iPhone users. iPhone owners are trying to figure out why the social media network shut down their accounts as a result of the trending topic they started on Twitter.
It seems that anyone who accesses the social media app on the topic via iOS needs to log in again, and many people who use two-factor authentication have trouble reconnecting.
According to the posts made about the incident, many people who had enabled two-factor authentication were eventually able to sign in again. But sms codes were too slow to be sent, and some had to upload pictures of their identities to gain access again.
A Facebook spokesperson for the problem made the following statement to Engadget; “We are aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing Facebook. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. We are investigating reports that users had to log in again to access their Facebook account. We believe this is due to a configuration change and are striving to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”
