Former US President Donald Trump was blacklisted on social media networks following the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Many platforms, especially Facebook and Twitter, have completely parted ways with the former leader.
In the intervening months, it was learned that Trump would return to social media with a platform of his own. The service for the conservative wing will probably be an unruly internet network, as the former leader has always dreamed of.
Donald Trump will “redefine the game” on social media
Donald Trump’s aide Jason Miller told Fox News that the former president is considering setting up his own social network. According to Miller, this platform will be operational in two to three months. The platform’s understanding of the broadcast is unclear at this time. However, according to the descriptions, the upcoming application will “redefine the game”. The potential target audience is at least ten million!
Unlike mainstream social media platforms, Trump’s app will open the door to right-wing ideologies. The service, which will appeal to the conservative community, will be an alternative to apps such as Parler and MeWe. And, as the former U.S. leader probably imagined in other applications, control over his own service will be quite limited. Or not at all.
Donald Trump was suspended from all popular social media platforms in January. The former president, who summoned his supporters to the Capitol via Twitter and Facebook, wanted to oppose the election of Joe Biden. But things didn’t go his way. The raid by right-wing conservatives has been contained. Then all the platforms, including Snapchat, Twitch and YouTube, parted ways with Trump.
