Japanese technology giant Sony, allegedly worked on a phone with foldable screen. According to a report, Sony will launch the next year with the foldable display smartphone, the Xperia F series.

With Samsung’s Galaxy Fold, Sony is now joining Huawei, Xiaomi and LG, but now also staring at the caravan of foldable-screen telephones that are star-shining but not yet fully launched. According to a report, Sony is working on the new Xperia F series, will be released with a folding screen.

Samsung’s flexible OLED display technology, which is reported to use Sony’s design information about the foldable screen phone is unfortunately not for now. However, Sony’s folding screen phone is said to have a 21: 9 aspect ratio. This brings to mind the new Sony Xpreia 1 and Xpreia 10 models.

Considering this aspect ratio, it is possible to say that Sony’s foldable screen phone is not horizontally opened in a similar way to the tablet, but that the phone can be folded vertically. However, it should be remembered that these information and assessments will remain as rumors only until Sony’s official announcement.

When we consider the connection features of the new Xperia Z series from Sony, it is possible to say that this phone will have 5G connection support. Although Sony has not officially announced a smartphone with 5G connectivity, it was previously reported that the company was working on 5G technology. Hence, the technology giant Sony can announce its first smartphone with a foldable screen and 5G connection.
